One Liner: Two friends, one more chance at redemption.
Synopsis: On his way to work, when Ali finds his long-lost friend Zohad on a local bus in Dhaka one fateful morning, he is ecstatic. Zohad had been one of his closest friends, and he wishes nothing more than to catch up with what has happened in the last three years. But something seems off: Zohad is not the same boy he used to be and little does he know that he has found in the middle of a journey that will change everything in both their lives.
Bashar Georgis is a storyteller, postproduction specialist and director. He is known for
works that break social taboos in Bangladesh like Ujan Ganger Naiya (2014 –date), a BBC TV
Series in Bangladesh which deals with women’s empowerment, and Lukochuri (TV Film,
2013) that examines social life and the professional world.
Bashar Georgis was born in Dhaka, Bangladesh. A budding musician and voice-over artist in
his youth for Bangladesh Radio, he completed a diploma in information technology in the UK
and then graduated from Film and Television to working in Post Production as an editor &
colorist. He has gained considerable experience in over 200 episodes of drama and
documentaries for a number of clients including USAID, DFID, ICDDRB, the British Council,
and his work has been broadcast across the TV networks in Bangladesh reaching millions of
viewers. Bashar Georgis has worked for BBC Media Action since 2010 as a producer and
